Getting Started On Your Journey
Our services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits with psychotherapy. We believe in the healing power of connection and seek to meet children, young adults, and families where they are.
Personalized
how we can help
For children under age 18
Whether you’re a parent of a young child grappling with behavioral or attentional difficulties, a teenager who’s falling behind academically or struggling with issues like anxiety or depression, we offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for any family member.
Appointments may include:
Medication management appointments involve follow up with the psychiatrist regarding response to medication and include brief therapeutic interventions, such as elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, behavior modification strategies, etc.
The psychiatrist will then develop a formulation/assessment and provide guidance about treatment recommendations which might include medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. The psychiatrist will work in collaboration with the patient and family (and other providers, where necessary) to develop an evidence-based treatment plan.
This psychiatric evaluation includes:
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation involves obtaining a detailed history from the child and parent(s)/guardian(s), developing an assessment, goals, and providing treatment recommendations. With parental permission, the psychiatrist might request collateral information from the child’s school, pediatrician or treating physician(s), or other relatives.
Young Adult psychiatric services include comprehensive evaluations and treatment for ages 18-25. Conditions treated include depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and other psychiatric disorders. Click below to learn more about our offerings.

NeuMinds Behavioral Healthcare is now accepting patients with United Healthcare/Optum Behavioral Health, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna/Evernorth Behavioral Health, and private pay clients. Credentialing with other networks is pending and will be updated accordingly. If the psychiatrist is out-of-network with your insurance carrier, you may elect to pay out of pocket/self pay rates for services. In this case, you can request a "super bill" that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, if eligible.
